Andrew Ferguson died 1886 Ballygoneymore
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1886/06236/4785205.pdf
Informant was son John S. Ferguson (as posted in reply #6)

Marriage of an Andrew Ferguson, Ballygonney, in Magherafelt Registry Office, gives his father as Andrew Ferguson-

However, John Stewart Ferguson who married in 1871 (reply #7) was full age (born before 1850). Could John Stewart Ferguson be a brother of Andrew (d.1886) and thus also a brother of Rev. David Ferguson?

Children of Andrew Ferguson m.(1859) Anne Hamilton-
son (1865)

The indexes to the Diocesan & Prerogative Wills, 1595-1858, include an entry for James Ferguson of Ballygonny, L'derry, event date 9 March 1824:

Wikitree gives Rachel (Ferguson) Weir as sister of John Stewart Ferguson- and both children of Andrew Ferguson-

It looks like both of them had daughters called Anne Collins so perhaps that was their mothers name?

What's available in the 1831 Ireland census shows a number of Fergusons in 'Ballygounybeg', Tamlaght, Londonderry, have a look at them at the link here:

Londonderry Standard, 8 Feb.1871: Ferguson—February 2, at Ballygoney, Moneymore, Anna, wife of Mr. Andrew Ferguson, aged sixty-nine years.

Londonderry Sentinel, 21 Feb.1871: MARRIED. February 14, at the Presbyterian Church, Maghera, by the Rev. Thomas Turner, John Stewart Ferguson, youngest son of Mr. Andrew Ferguson, Ballygoney, Moneymore, to Annie, eldest daughter of Mr. William Henderson, Crossland, Garvagh.

I did research for that Henderson family years ago but have to check my files to see if anything on Fergusons.
Added- Annie Henderson, born 1 Mar.1843, was the daughter of William Henderson of Crossland and Jane Hilton of Dullaghy. The research I did was for the granddaughter of Annie's brother.
