A Henry, son of William Tilley, was baptised on 27th March 1709 in Ash. In 1725, he was apprenticed to Michael Bedo, a cordwainer. Apprenticeships usually lasted around 7 years, so it seems he married soon after he completed his apprenticeship.

Did Henry and Mary move to Boughton under Blean? A Henry Tilly was buried there on 7th August 1787, aged 78, which matches the 1709 baptism. It appears he left a will, which you can find by searching for the surname 'Tilly' on this website:
https://wills.kentarchives.org.uk/

You may already have this, but I thought I would mention it, just in case.

There is also a Mary baptised to John and Mary Ansel in Ash in October 1699; still would make her quite a lot older than Henry, but closer in age than the 1696 baptism.
