On line electoral rolls - Dublin 1938 -1964
https://www.irishgenealogynews.com/2015/04/dublin-electoral-lists-1938-now-online.html
Sadly that entry (dated 2015) was superceded by the quote from the Dublin City Library I posted in reply 34 on page 4. It would seem that the ER's were in the online database but GDPR or some other legal issue meant they were removed.

Thank you Andy - it is weird isn't it, I don't get why GDPR applies online but not in a library ! and also it doesn't seem to apply in the  UK as we do have online electoral rolls don't we I think . But thank you again :)

Thanks for the update - seemed too good to be true.
There's a wealth of stuff in the newspapers but none identify the specific address.

The Liberties Dublin on Facebook might be worth a try, lots of chat there about different buildings.
