Years Looking for Elizabeth Jane Minards buriel
« on: Friday 23 June 23 22:48 BST (UK) »
and at long last i have found her she died 17th November 1911 Princes Road, Ellesmere Port and now I have found she is buried at Rake Lane, Wallasey. Elizabeth was married to Master Charles Minards who died in the S S Formby. but would be interested as to why she was buried there.
Thank you
Kind regards
Heather

Who lived at that address in 1911 ?  was she visiting relatives ?

ADDED
1911 census Charles is on a voyage from Waterford Ireland to Liverpool,

so Elizabeth was ill and died at the home of the person caring for her?

Do you have the death certificate, who reported her death?

In the 1911 census 18 Princes Road Ellesmere Port was lived in by Phillis (Elizabeth's daughter?) and Ernest Taylor

for the record - it looks like Charles Minards - Master Mariner on this record - do we presume this is Elizabeth Jane Minards and Charles son ?  if so - they lived in Mount Pleasant , Liverpool ...a quite affluent address at the time

Marriage: 8 May 1898 Holy Trinity, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Charles Minards - 23, Boot Salesman, Bachelor, 29 Mount Pleasant
Jennie Long - 18, Spinster, 29 Mount Pleasant
Groom's Father: Charles Minards, Master Mariner
Bride's Father: Charles Long, Gymnastic Instructor
Witness: William Brodie Roberts; Annie Grace Canning
.........................
thoughts please - or am I jumping the gun ?

if Richard was born 1897  and Elizabeth Jane died 1911 - he would only be 14 - and her eldest - Alfred Wallace would be 30 -
has anyone checked for Alfred or Walter Minards on the Wirral in 1911 census ?...many left Liverpool to go across the Mersey because the houses were cheaper ?

Kaye - what family were in 45 Falklands Rd in 1911 ??

added - did you notice Phillis is not amongst those baptisms ?

The family at 45 Falklands Rd were Charles Manards - widower  age 61 - Master Mariner - although he has been crossed out as he was at sea - with children Reginald 19, Francis 18, Richard 12 and Jessie 30 with brother in law Richard Abraham
