Last October I submitted some photos to the local Fakebook old photos page. One of these showed my Mum and Dad before they were married, taking a rest from a motor bike trip out in the countryside.  This provoked quite a few local responses.
Yesterday I had a message on Fakebook from a lady asking "....did the lady (my mum) have a brother Charles? He was my grandfather".
Although I was aware of the respondent I have never met her, as her grandfather and family moved away from this area, but my mum kept in touch with him on a regular basis and always sent him a copy of the weekly local paper.

So how about that for the long arm of co-incidence and how powerful the social media platforms for making long lost links. It really made my day. Another link secured in the family chain.

Well here we are at the end now  of another week, next diary will be when  my grandaughter is home

It is quite a nice morning  warmer but with breeze, just how I like it, it was peaceful .

I have started  to clear put my cupboards, got rid of quite a few plastic containers yesterday,  don't use them  often, next one is the china one

No church for me, had a hospital appt at 09.30 for the dermatologist,  in and out as quick  as a flash, don't  have to go back so I am a happy bunny.

Hope everyone is feeling  better today
