The Irish Census Search Website has been down since yesterday and is currently still down.

Shows 'Not Secure' on their search page - http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/

So they can't provide a secure connection  ???

I was able to search with no problems. This is mine.

Your most recent link works for me too. :) although the first one you posted still is insecure.

I wonder if it depends on which browser is used. I have a different response to that of KG on the first link.

The first link has the secure prefix https - not necessary for the the census site as you are not sending any sensitive information, the basic www. or http is all that's required : http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/
