Hi all
Looking for any info for William Prickett or Pricket c 1796 Butlers Marston Warwickshire d 1874 Shipston on Stour .
I am totally confused as I have spouse .
Elizabeth Mary Baker 1786-1869 and
Elizabeth Collins c 1787-1869
Both married 03/05/1819 to a William Prickett or Pricket Butlers Marston Warwickshire.
Anthony Pricket or Prickett b 1764 maybe Father Isabella might be Mother
Any help would be much appreciated

Elizabeth mary Baker married William Henry Prickett in St Botolph London in 1814. Both were of that parish. His occupation was a waterman.

Elizabeth Collins married William Prickett in Butlers Marston. He was a labourer. She was quite a bit older than him, according to the census.
Possible baptism for her in 1878 in Butlers Marston - parents Richard and Sarah.

There is a baptism of a William PRICKET in 1796 in Witherslack Westmorland with parents Anthony and Isabella. That is about 190 miles from Butlers Marston.
So very unlikely this is the William who was born abt 1796 in Butlers Marston, Warwickshire.


I think you need to know whether you are looking for the Pricketts of London, or Warwickshire, or Westmorland.

Are you looking for the ancestors of Joseph Prickett born 1821 transported to Australia in 1845?

I am unsure which William Prickett you are looking for. ? ?
If it is the one who married Elizabeth Collins in 1819 in Butlers Marsden then you might consider :-
 William PRICKET son of Elizabeth PRICKET
Baptism on 3 Oct 1796 in St Peters in Kineton, Warwickshire (Kineton is about 1 mile from Butlers Marston)


You might also consider looking further at Ann Prickett who was a witness at William Prickett to Elizabeth Collins wedding.
There was an Ann Prickett who married William HEMMINGS in Butlers Marston on 22 Nov 1819.

You could be right with Elizabeth and William re Father -Mother of Joseph .
Some one said maybe Anthony & Isabella was parents of a William Prickett
But you could be right too far away .
I did see a William Prickett died 1874 Shipston on Stour not sure who he is .
