Hi
Can I give my tuppence worth.

We have the baptism for Joseph 1821 at Butlers Marston - William and Elizabeth parents marriage etc
And his prison record from Pentonville gives his father as William Prickett from Marston Butler labourer in  9 May 1843 Joseph 22 years 11 months and 2 days. so born c Sep 1820.

Burial for William at Butlers Marston 21 June 1874 age 80 from Shipston Workhouse
Wife Elizabeth buried BM 24th July 1869 age 82 so born 1787

Ann Prickett buried BM 31.1.1826 age 22 years so perhaps a sister.
There is also a Fanny buried 9 Dec 1823 age 21
And Fanny Heritage Ptickett born 1790 Marston Butler married John Morrice 1829 ,Daughter Ann before her marriage in 1827.
George Davis Prickett refusing to give up parish house Marston Butlers  1824 Shakespeare Birthplace Trust
I can see 3 local marriages for him 1821,1824 and 1827 one with a witness Joseph Wheeler.
He is about the same age as your William. He died before 1841 as widow Rebecca alone.

Elizabeth Collins is a local girl bapt 25.6.1787 d of Richard and Sarah.
So dates looking accurate.
siblings Joseph 29.11.1778,John 18.2.1781 ,Susannah 1.5.1783
with Hester -John 31.8.1767,Mary 24.4.1768 ,Hannah 28.1.1770,John 24.5.1772 .
Richard of Martson Butler widower married Sarah Fell at Weston under Wetherley 20 Nov 1775
wit George and John Smith.
Richard bapt 28 Dec 1746 s of William and Hannah Collins. Buried 30.9.1822.

Thanks heaps for all that , Phew you will need a cider or three after all that .
Just an after thought , where does Anthony and Isabella  Prickett fit in if anyone can decipher the mystery.

There is no mystery. Anthony and Isabella were the parents of an entirely different William.

I think you need to take great care in looking at public trees, as I can see very many which are totally incorrect.
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
