NSW BDM is free to search:
https://familyhistory.bdm.nsw.gov.au/lifelink/familyhistory/search?16

There is a death for a Joseph BATEMAN at Cooranbong, aged 97 in 1968 (44795/1968 ) registerd in the Wyong district. As there is no parents names on the index, it is likely these weren't known by the informant, and probably don't appear on the death certificate.

I can't see an Elsie May BATEMAN death around 1975 - is BATEMAN her maiden name, or a married name? Do you have her parent's names?
