From the sir William Harris & and Lady Alice Smythe line in Crixie Essex
Sir William  HARRIS  was  a  big donater to the early charters to Virginia
Thomas  Harris born 1636 Chevening Kent
Parents John Harris & Frances  Ducre.... Thomas born  in her second marriage .

They were part of a really big  group of families  in  kinship system  between England and Virginia  making it really    complicated  with all the duplicating of names in both countries  often in the same year .

This THOMAs  was constantly pulled into records in Virginia  when in fact it was his identically named  cousin  who were both 1636 births  with people totally mixing them  up .

FIRST MARRIAGE .

Thomas  ( A Salter & Haberdasher )    married  Hannah Coltman in 1658   there is a  note   on the-- Boyds   inhabitants of London -   they had a daughter HANNAH   but cant--- prove-- it   
 
SECOND MARRIAGE                       
Dorothy Bassano in 1622/3  in Mary Le Bow London  -- then i lose them  just  before  the fire  and  plague.     

Last child born was in 1669 in Walthamstow . Essex .
       

Very likely to be dissenters  and there is this family in Staplehurst  Kent as well where were disssenters.



Does anyone have  this THOMAS married to Dorothy  from a very well known family of BASSANO   who were court musicians .    Im sure they went to Virginia  but just can t prove it .

"Dorothy Bessana" Thomas Harris, of S' Leonard, East Cheap, Salter, Widr, ab' 26, & Dorothy Bessana, of S' Lawrence Jury, Spr, ab' 19, her parents dead ; consent of eldest brother John Bezana her guardian ; at S' Mary le Bow, London. Mar 28 Feb. 1662/3
