Does anyone recognise this landmark?
« on: Sunday 02 July 23 10:01 BST (UK) »
Found in a folder of "unknowns" so can't really offer any clues I'm afraid.

Would love to know where it was/is if anyone can help.

Looks like a tidal bathing pool, with a breakwater just beyond, but I don't know where it is.

Is it "unknown" but probably originating in your family, or is it part of a bundle found or bought elsewhere?
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

It would have been taken by my husband or myself on holiday somewhere, vast majority of holidays taken in England.

Any clues as to where you have been on holiday?

It looks like south Britain from what I can see and possibly taken 1970s?

Well to list the most frequented places, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Norfolk.

Later than 1970’s as I was at school then!  Married in 1986 so after that.

Older photo as in pre computer days I believe.

Oh wow well done Tony.

Is that in Essex?  One solitary holiday there at Thorpe-le-Soken **

** 2002 apparently so later than I was thinking.
