RAF Hunmanby Moor, Filey
« on: Sunday 02 July 23 14:06 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I understand that thousands of Jamaican and African men arrived in the UK to join the War (WW2) effort and many were stationed at RAF Hunmanby Moor, Filey on the site of what was Butlins Holiday Resort.
There is a website "African Stories in Hull & East Yorkshire" that lists many of the names of those who were stationed there.
Would anyone know how I can find out further details of one of those listed on the website as being stationed there?
Regards

Hello Hepburn,
Yes I have been on the site. It's the one I mention in my initial post that gives the name of someone I have an interest in finding more about.
Thanks
