Richard Marple !838-1928
« on: Sunday 02 July 23 18:56 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone, here is another tiny photo (sorry for that) of Richard Marple, of Cape Breton Island. He stood 5' 11" and was said to be very strong, and a very devout christian who read the bible daily.
I hope you can restore it as you have with the rest if the family photos I have submitted. One story of his strength is that he could lift a 300 pound anvil by the horn raising it off the block and making a complete turn before setting it down again.
