Is this the latest telephone scam?
Telephone call regarding the expiry of the warranty on my kitchen appliances- he didn't get very far as I don't have any kitchen appliance warranties, which I told him in clear , plain English and for him to take a running jump.

Gosh, he will remember that.
Very hot here today again, beds changed and washing done and dry ,next is ironing- meaning lip service to ironing ,!
By the time a duvet cover is on it needs  ironing  again.!

Ifffir a bath and hair wash then will have a light meal.
Son had to go to head office yesterday and  will be back tomorrow evening .

Wednesday next week us when deeds for next door etc are his and he wants a few jobs :D :D :D :D doing then his stuff can come up here from the containers at my daughter’s storage units, motor bikes for the repair shop etc .

My neighbour’s daughter has cleaned right through ,it was always immaculate .
They have left such nice useful stuff .
I must think of some way to repay them,I give each month to Alzheimer’s Charity, I could step that up- well my son really.

Quite exiting , he might get a dog—-  :D :D :D

Well off for a soak, rain tomorrow but I need to shop ,far too hot today.

The burst in the lane is at it again !
So more mud and idiots  ignoring safety barriers etc .

Well thanks for your news, not long now L.M.
Such stories she will have to relate .Avery brave girl.

Cheerio folks look after yourselves.
Viktoria.

Hi Viktoria.
Good news about your son, you shouldn't feel lonely as he is only next door, you can chat over the wall.

I made a big mistake recently  I sorted out my linen drawer, accidentally  sent my king size nearly new sheets to the charity shop, so when in Tesco I bought a 100% cotton set, another mistake,  washed them before I was due to use them, came out all screwed up, no polyester,  another expensive mistake.

It has been very hot today, hope it rains tonight but I will  get out and water my garden  just in case it doesn't,  was unbearable today.

My grandaughter is in the air via Dubai,  my daughter has got welcome home stuff up and I did a poster from a photograph, I expect she will come home and go straight to bed,  we won't see her till Sunday lunchtime, all lovely and tanned and me lily White.

Take care

LM

Time for a rant about English!

I recently read a book, where throughout the author referred to "chest-of-draws"!
Just had a Facebook notification where someone made the same mistake.

Does nobody learn English any more?
It's a Chest-of-drawERS!!!

Some of us do know (even those of us who failed 'O' level English Language twice   ::) ) and luckily so do the manufacturers/sellers of such items.  Chest-of-draws, however, doesn't show as a misspelling on-line.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.
