Joseph & Mary are on the 1841 census in Pimperne with I presume their daughter Jane age 9,
They are still there in 1861 below, both noted as born Pimperne. So maybe not the correct Mary.
That poses the question, if the deaths are correct and your Mary did not marry someone with the same surname, did Mary marry at all?

Thanks for your help. I think I will leave this be. I'll see what I can come up with. I always think when both partners have the same surname there might be some funny business going on.

The 1813 bapt would fit with census ages

I don't think this is right because her parents are Sylvester Horlock 1789 – 1856. Martha Richards 1789 – 1828

Have you got the death certificate for Mary? 

Does it definitely say she was married (or widowed)

Who was the informant?

All that would be useful information.

A family tree has Mary A Harris? born 1818 as the daughter of Sylvester & Martha and a child Sarah Harris born 1841 but no marriage is listed for Mary.

It also has Mary in Battersea in 1891 so if the tree is accurate that Mary didn't die in 1885.

Silvester Harlick married Martha Richards 8 May 1809 at Hilton Dorset, witness Joanna Drake, James Tucker.

Interesting note.
The previous entry is for Thomas Richards who married Mary Harlick on 3 April 1809, witness George House and **Martha Richards.
