looking for birth in Missouri 1908

Hi all, everybody keeps telling me births in Missouri before 1910 are not to be found, maybe someone can prove them wrong, am looking for this family member:

Name child: Lucille OPAL
Born Sweet Springs, MO september 1908, no date named
Name father: Perry Hunt Opal
Name mother: Loretta Duffy

She died in Flordia 10-3-1967 or 10-3-1967, no place named but also that death cannot be found.
Who can helpe me?

Did Lucille marry?  Do you have any of these people on the census? 

Someone who died in Florida in 1967 should be on the Florida death index, but I don't see her.  Perhaps she is under another name?

On Anc*try, are 37 trees for someone who most likely is your Lucille.  However, almost every detail that you supplied is slightly different than the facts recorded in the trees, including her father’s surname and her maiden name.

According to one tree, Lucille’s death was 3 Oct 1967, but it was in Lafayette County, Missouri.

Are you quite certain that her surname was Opal?

Dear all, thanks for your replies and much information, which I will research.

Lucille indeed died in Wisconsin, my mistake.
As far as I know she was fiancee of a Dutch man Barend van der Wekken.
Did not use Ancestry, cannot afford their fees all the time, if anyone can find the right data there, thanks

So I found some more data because she is believed to have been in relation with a Dutch military man, Barend van der Wekken, Born 20-2-1919 Zierikzee, province of Zeeland, Netherlands.
There are photos from him being in Fort Leavenworth 1942, Myrtle Beach 1943 and in that same year with a woman in a town called Higginsville, MO.

If this is the same woman, she must have been divorced or seperated from David Temming, as she married in 1942 (David still being alive at this point) to B. G. van der Wekken in Florida.

This is interesting… It has their marriage place as Missouri, in August 1942? The Florida marriage record is for 28 Nov 1942?

Also interest…. It appears Lucille was married to a Raymond L Riedl for a short time, I see Raymond remarried again in 1935.
