The only Isaac Egerton christening around that time that I can see from a quick search was on 25 June 1826 at Acton, Cheshire, a son of John Egerton and Mary Anne.  But that isn't James and Margaret, or Westminster.  (Incidentally, I recognize the spelling Egerton, but not really the others.  There was an actor and theatre manager named Daniel Egerton, who died in reduced circumstances in Chelsea in 1835, but Egerton was merely his professional name, his paternal name being Bradstock.  A connection is unlikely, but I mention it just in case).

The photograph was of Coburg-street residents.......Isaac EGGERTON was not individually identified.

His late GG Granddaughter (and myself) experienced exactly the same problem as this thread unearthing details of his parents, despite using every variation of EGGERTON.

I haven't seen the photo, but, by coincidence, the Cobourg was the original name of the theatre which Daniel Egerton managed, later called the Victoria.

It's strange that the existing tree mentioned above has him as Isaac EGGENTON. It does seem to refer to an Isaac Eggerton however, according to contemporary news reports (in addition to the one I already posted.

Added: I see the OP has both names, but I’ll leave this for additional documentation.

The tree has two marriages, which help to link the reports to him.
1849 Mary Ann Kerns (died 1874)
1875 Harriet Green (outlived him)

The names of his parents were passed to me by his late GG Granddaughter who also failed to find unearth any other details.

Did she provide a source for this? How did she know the names of his parents, yet she could provide no other details? Is there not a chance that she was mistaken?

I just think that it is important not to get tunnel vision, as currently there does not seem to be any concrete evidence for the parents' names.

Australian/New Zealand death certificates name the parents. What/who  is listed on his ?

Obtaining this would be a good start, if it does name the parents.
