I have Janes's Death image from GRO
Jane was the widow of John Byers. She died in the Darlington workhouse on 23rd April 1847. The cause of Death was old age. She was 81. A workhouse employee signed the certificate as in attendance workhouse Darlington.
So now looking for John's Death.

According to a tree on F.M.P  Ralph Rain's wife was a Mary Snowball.
I am now following this lead to see if it gets me anywhere.
I changed Janes's birth date to 1667 and Ralph and Mary came up on a tree search.

Here is the correct? Jane Raine:

Ovingham, Northumberland, St Mary the Virgin 
16 Jul 1767 Jane Rain, of Hedley, daughter of Ralph & Mary Rain

This is the earliest Raine record of any kind at Ovingham, at DRO, but their baptism records only start in 1750.
