You have nailed this Shinann www.landedestates.ie/estate/3150  Bannockstown spelled
multiple ways.  The map indicates the general area of Cashel.  That is within reasonable
         distance of Thurles.

        Thankyou,
         Jen.

Not quite yet.
This one in 1873
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS54-WWRV?i=287&cat=185720
bottom of right hand page, gives the impression it's next to Fryars Grange.
There is a Friers Grange in the Civil Parish of Coolmudry which is in the Barony of Middlethird.
So I think Rathlevane is in Coolmudry or right next to it. Granted the spelling is slightly different so not 100% sure it the same place.

Up to 1894 and always Rathlevane is listed with lots of other places in big exchanges/leasing of land of 100s of acres.
It almost always appears with Downsallagh, another place I can't find.

Finally something.
1924, I couldn't believe it was still being listed.
Rathlevane known on the OS as part of the lands of Brannoxtown and part of the lands of ?

Left hand side in the County Tipperary section

Looks like Crumpscastle, but there is a Crampscastle in the Barony of Middlethird.

Thankyou Sinann and Kiltaglassan, that is a great result achieved only through your tenacity
in reading the deeds of lease and more importantly being able to interpret the results.  Your help
  is appreciated  ;D

Jen.
