Grateful if someone is able to do a lookup request at Archives NZ, Wellington office of the following:

Register - Destitute Persons Act [Maintenance/Guard Book] Wellington Magistrate Court
03 May 1895 - 15 April 1897
Archives NZ Reference ADEE 16358 JC - W6/2/8

19 Jan 1897 Florence Giese
 Husband: Thomas William Giese of Feilding, plumber
 Child: Louisa Giese born 27 Jun 1889
 Child: John Giese born 25 Feb 1892

It looks like you got the info. I'm curious to know your connection to Thos Wm Giese. These people are my wife's ancestors. Their story is much more convoluted, there being two wives/partners, both named Florence. The one you enquired about is the first Florence and my wife's ancestor. Alan
