Richard Atkinson Wood
« on: Tuesday 11 July 23 20:42 BST (UK) »
My wife’s great grand uncle was  Richard Atkinson Wood born 2nd May 1878, Pannal, North Yorkshire died 29th March 1950. Newspaper report states : service at St Marks and internment at Stonefall Cemetery Harrogate . Why can’t I find a record of his burial at Stonefall?
TIA

Not all burial records are online - particularly for that period - & if he doesn't have a headstone there would be nothing to transcribe for sites like Findagrave

Have you contacted the cemetary to establish a grave number & check if there is a headstone?

He left a will - £8226 - probate to his widow Elizabeth & Phyllis May Palframan
