HI Everyone
     I just wanted to ask if anyone has seen this before.  A birth registration with NO parents.  This particular Elizabeth/Eliza SIMPSON maybe the last piece of my research into the children of Mary Rose Ann Devine and Robert SIMPSON.  I will attach here the actual record from the NSW BDM.  Very odd! Any thoughts very much appreciated.  Kind regards Dianna

It is a church baptism, not a birth registration.  I am guessing that the child's parents were unknown when it was baptised.  There are sometimes extra notes on these entries made by the officiating minister.

NN = Church of England   

Althorpe; Brougham; Invermain; Rowan

Hi Debra thanks it is just so strange to me!  I will try and find more on it though as it could answer the long search I have had for this missing child.  Yes I realised I said birth registration LOL I know it is only a baptismal record but often!! the birth date is also recorded on the baptismal record.
