No, not related to him,
Have seen the article in the Telegraph & that's all there appears to be.

The most detailed of the newspaper accounts is probably the one in the Leven Mail of 3-2-1943 (the picture in my previous post comes from there):

Sgt. Andrew Murray, No. 194 Squadron
of the R.A.F., son of Mr and Mrs Henry
Murray, 1 Rodger Place, Coaltown of
Wemyss, who was born in Kirkcaldy, has
been awarded the D.F.M. for playing a
notable part in attacking Rommel's supply
ships, mechanised columns, and bases.
Before going to the Middle East 15
months ago he had taken part in many
sorties as a rear gunner, and by his help
and cool thinking he assisted his captain
by accurate direction. On several occa-
sions he identified large concentrations of
enemy vehicles, and directed his pilot on
the bomb run, all the time showing keen-
ness, courage and efficiency of the highest
order. Sgt. Murray, who is 22 years of age,
joined the Air Force just over three years
ago. He was previously employed as a
miner at Lochhead Colliery.
