I am trying to trace my Hodgson Ancestry but struggling to get past my Great Grandfather, I live miles away from Cumbria to be able to get to the records offices so any information or help would be greatly appreciated. Below is the information I have so far,

His wife, Frances Abbott Furness B: Crosby Ravensworth Abt 1861, D: Penrith Abt. 1926

Great Great Grandfather (I think?)
John Hodgson B: Langwathby Abt. 1822, D: ?
His wife, Martha Little B: Burgh by Sands Abt. 1825, D: ?

Thank you for confirming what I thought I knew.

I am still struggling to go back further than John Hodgson married to Martha Little?

I think it might be John Hodgson and Catherine Blay but very unsure of this?
