Hi ,
   Im searching for Patrick Kelly who married Elizabeth Malone.  Patrick was in the 40th Regiment . He served in Australia, East Indies, Kabul. then in 1847 came to Auckland N.Z. as a Fencible.  Can anyone help with his details as cannot find any information on them other than N.Z. and I also have his War Record.

  Hope someone can help as he must of had family members somewhere.

Patrick and Elizabeth Kelly nee Malone came to Auckland, N.Z. on board the ship "Ramillies" in 1847 with 4 children (passenger List states 4) I only found 3 from Patrick Kelly "WILL". It states William, Joseph and Anne and his wife Elizabeth.  Patrick died in Onehunga, N.Z. in 1858. Anne married a William O'Connor and she died about 1903, Chapel Street, Onehunga.
I have no idea where they married as Patrick Kelly was in the 40th Regiment and went to different countries. He was eventually promoted to Sergeant.  They came to Auckland to help protect Auckland from the Maoris. Here he was under Capt Kenny.

A son was born in Onehunga in 1849 ,his name was Patrick Thomas Kelly . He eventually arrived in Westport, Sth Island and lived there and his family there as well. I do have some data on him and descendants , Im more interested in his parents and brothers sisters if he had some and also family of his wife Elizabeth Malone.  I wondered if one or both of them had previous marriages ?

I have no data on William Kelly
 
Joseph Kelly, place of birth is County Limerick, Ireland , he died 1901 Westport, N.Z and was aged 50yrs. and 47 years lived N.Z. His death notice states his mother Bridget Kelly nee Malone . At time of death - never married
(Unsure if this is correct death as mother states Bridget and not Elizabeth but back then family were unsure of first name

Anne O'Connor nee Kelly she died 1903 aged 54yrs . Born in Ireland and was in N.Z. 50yrs. Im positive Anne information is correct as a elder family member told me years ago she married an
O'Connor chap but they had no children.

When Annie O'Connor died her brother Patrick Thomas Kelly from Westport went to Auckland and in his statement reads he is the only next of kin.

(The date died , aged died and live in N.Z. doen't add up if born those years as were already in N.Z. Maybe they were unsure of their age . There are no birth dates on certificates and age married on Anne Cert
