What is the address on that birth certificate

The address of birth is 75 Newport, Lincoln

Under name and maiden name of mother it says Eliza Harrison a domestic servant

The informant is a Rebecca Finch, occupier of 75 Newport, Lincoln

There is no father named

Wouldn't she legally been bound to put her married name on there?

There has been no family mention of her being married before unlike Joseph as we knew he'd been married twice before and had other children.

Thank you.

She is possibly in Lincoln in 1891 unless you have already discounted this one

On Bertie's birth certificate she is Eliza so I wouldn't rule that out.

Yes I have his service records.

She lists herself under lots of different names...my dad said she was known as Grandma Annie.

I'm inclined to think that the marriage in 1880 is not her. If it is her on the 1891 Census she says she is single. No married name or father on Bert's birth certificate. My grandad brought Bert up as his own son.
