Have you found the rest of her family in 1881?

I see her sisters went into service and she isn't with her parents but have you found all her siblings in case they were together?

I havent yet looked. I looked for her parents and then next port of call is trying her siblings.

I note that Joseph Taylor & Annie Eliza Harrison were both widowed at the time of marriage, according to the record on family search.

I wonder if this is an earlier marriage,

I note her parents are still in Broadholme in 1881/1891, one married son and his wife in 1881.

Widowed puts a whole new spin on things  :-\

If her widowed surname was Harrison then she can't be Harrison at birth (unless she married someone with the same surname)

She may have reverted to her maiden name.

She may have reverted to her maiden name.

Or perhaps said she was a widow because she already had a child.

I have a copy of her son's birth in 1897. There is no father on the birth certficate.
