British naming patterns and missing death record
« on: Saturday 15 July 23 18:15 BST (UK) »
Hi from Canada,

I am looking for my 2nd great grand aunt Barbara Christopher Fardy Ferguson Weatherhead 's death record. She was born in North Shields on the 13th of December 1854, but I can't find her after 1861 (cencus).

I was also wondering also if her middle names (Christopher Fardy Ferguson) are family names that would be relatives of the family? Just wondering if this is part of some British name pattern?

Thank you for your time.

Tamara

The only James Weatherhead death in Northumberland was their 2yr old son - also James.  Born 1852 died 1853

Wonder if James snr was a seaman & died at sea??

There is a death in 1915 for Barbara aged 60
Death in 1912 for Elizabeth aged 76?

EDIT

Wrong Barbara - just found her on 1861

Carole, I suspect that’s a different Barbara Weatherhead born in Glendale RD in 1853.

Birthplace, Lowick, was in Glendale RD.
