trying to find information in George Gordon.All I have on him is his marriage to Jane Slator in 11/04/1871.His father was James Gordon.He put down his employment as a police Constable in Rathmines Police Station.I have looked at Irish genealogy,but cant find him.I am hoping that someone can check his police record to find a bit more personal information on him,thank you in advance,tom

His police record is probably on FindMyPast (subscription site) as a member of the Dublin Metropolitan Police.

thank you very much for your help.I will be looking at the Wexford Gordons as it fits in better.And their decendants coincide better.It saved a lot of time.Even when I make mistakes you point me in the right direction,thank you,tom

According to his DMP service register, he resigned two days after his wedding on 13 April 1871.
