Hi I am looking for any information in the family of Hugh McHarg from Saskatchewan. His father was Douglas. I understand that they originate from Scotland but would appreciate any information. Thankyou

Where in Scotland did he originate ?

1916 census Saskatchewan

Hugh Mcharg   31   Head. Born 1885 Scotland. Farming, working on his own account.

IF we are on the correct wave length , then this would be Alexander McHarg and Margaret V Scott McHarg - the grandfather of Hugh, father of Douglas.

Oh my goodness so much information in such a short time.
I believe Douglas is the grandson of John McHarg and Annie Mary Kerr who lived in Leswalt, Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland
If that is the case we are all part of the same family.
