1871 census in Stepney, Sarah A Vyse has gone down as born Middlesex Stepney.
What became of Sarah Ann?

Meanwhile, back to that Edward Vise burial in South Mimms in 1852. Abode is Mimms side Barnet.
Which can't be far away from where Sarah was in 1851.
No birth reg or baptism for Edward?

We seem to have more puzzles than ever!

Looking at the BC more closely, the birth seems to have been on 30 Jan 1850 and it was registered on 20 Feb 1850. My original query noted the registration as 19 Feb and a baptism on 03 Mar. The birth was registered by Sarah's mother, Mary Ann VYSE. Where is the record of the baptism? Has anyone seen it? Why does Edward appear on the baptism record and not on the BC?
