Still searching for any info on William COLEMAN who married Elizabeth BUCKINGHAM 14 June 1808 Cheltenham, Glos. Father of 9 children William, Harriet, Thomas, John, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, James George, Frederick and Lucy. The latter died in 1830 as did her mother. The 1st few children were baptised in Oxford, the rest in Cheltenham. On many of the children's marriage certificates William's occupation is recorded as musician. I have traced all the children. An ancestor of Elizabeth, his daughter, who went to Utah in 1856, informed me that William never returned home after an evening's musical performance and his family believed him to be robbed and murdered. I can find no evidence pertaining to this. Can anyone help with any information about him please?
