Arblaster/Alblaster/Allbaster

I have been trying to locate the Arblaster's that lived in the Brownshill Norton/Norton Canes area of Staffordshire however seem to be struggling when using FamilySearch.

I have got to a Henry Arblaster whose partner was Maria. He was born around 1805 in Brownshill.

I believe I have come across a baptism record for him, but not 100% sure. The baptism record I found was for Henry Allblaster who was baptized on 2 Nov 1806 - Norton Canes, Staffordshire. His mother is Violetta and his father is Charles.

Upon looking on FamilySearch nothing really shows for other potential siblings.

I see that there are trees on Genenet, however I have had bad experiences with following these sort of 'sources' so therefore decided to refuse to look at them.

Firstly, I want to apologize for not being able to get back to doing this sooner. I believe I have more than enough time now to focus my research on this line again. I want to say thank you to users Capetown and Comberton for your responses and patience.

Secondly, I have done a little bit more research from when I previously posted;

I have found that Charles Arblaster [Allblaster/Alblaster/Abaster] and Violetta [Violet/Violette/Viletty/Vioalette/Lettea/Letitia] had baptised AT LEAST 13 Children, 10 of whom were at the same Church in Norton Canes, Staffordshire.

NOTE; There is another baptism record for a James Allblaster with a father Charles Allblaster and mother ELIZABETH on 03 Mar 1799 at St Matthews Church in Walsall, Staffordshire. A lot of 'Trees' seem to suggest this is a son of Charles. However, I am not sure if this is a child of the Charles that we are looking at though

NOTE; Henry Alblaster is the Henry Alblaster who married Maria Thompson on 12 Sep 1825 at All Saints Church in West Bromwich. The witnesses were George Thompson and Sarah Cledam, as posted by Capetown.

NOTE; There are family trees that support a claim to a John Arblaster in around 1810. I am, however, unable to find this on FreeReg.

NOTE; I am yet to identify a marriage between Charles and Violetta. There appear to be multiple 'trees' on Ancestry, FS, and Genenet which give the date 25th March 1799. However there are no sources attached to this, and my extensive search for a marriage or any possibility of a marriage were not successful.

You mention a Charles Allbaster and wife Elizabeth, Ithink this may well be Charles's father.
Charles Senior born 1750 was a farmer in the area.
He had a first wife Mary by whom he had
Elizabeth 17 Oct 1773 Rushall
Richard 21 Oct 1775 at Rushall -2 July 1849 Longdon of Brook House Lyswys (age 76) Will £3000 to sons Amos ,Richard and Stephen. Married Charlotte Craddock 24.3.1799 Cannock

Charles age 26 of Rushall  widower then remarried to Elizabeth Salt age 26 a widow 0f Aldridge  by licence 15 Oct 1777 again at Aldridge wit William Stinton The clerk? and Edward Winsor farmer of Rushall and the bondsman for the licence.

Charles dies 21 Jan 1817 at Shenstone of Bloxwich age 67 years
His Will states he is a farmer of Walsall Foriegn mentions wife Elizabeth (personal property ),eldest son Richard 1 shilling and 5 surviving children Charles ,Sarah Kawford  a widow,Peggy w of John Turner ,William and James. The residue of the estate to be split between them and his wife.
Executor nephew Daniel (the son of Brother Edmund/Edward  and his wife Mary nee Turner bapt 5 Jan 1779 Walsall) Worth £40

Widow Elizabeth buried Shenstone 5 Aug 1829 age 81 of Clarigh or Bloxwich.

The family all fit together quite well
So we have Charles junior 1778-1858 Ogley Hay
Charles senior 1750-1817 and Elizabeth Salt 1748-1829
Richard his father and his mother  Elizabeth Allen married 5.11.1747 Weeford . Richard's  Will Baldhay Slade Rugeley 1798 (indexed 1796) buried 26 June 1798 .Farmer
Sons Charles 1750  ,Edward/Edmund 1753  ,James 1755  ,daughter Mary Turner 1751  and second wife Sarah Gorton married Rugeley 22.11.1769.Nephew Charles of Stone.
Bapt Rugeley 23 June 1723 s of Charles and Ann.

There's plenty more out there but it does seem to cover all the Arblaster's in the area.
