Graham Medomsley, Chopwell

Researching Graham family who wandered round a  bit, lived Shotley Field ( 1851, 1861 ), Medomsley ( 1871 1881      ) and Chopwell 1901 on. John Graham married Jane Hoper, son Edward Graham also married a Jane. Looking for the descendants.

You need to give birthdates/birthplaces etc

No marriage to a Jane Hoper on freebmd so was presumably pre 1837

Use www.freebmd.org & to establish children born to John & Jane 

Same website to find Edwards marriage to Jane

You say their son Edward also married a Jane - when?  When & where was Edward born?

Edward 73y 6m ,Jane, 5 of their children and 1 grandson on 1921 census.

Edward & Jane appear on all census from 1881-1921 so you can follow their children. I won't spoil your  research.

1851 for Edward with parents John & Jane.  Birthplace same as 1881 - Shotley.

If parents married 1846 - there is a 7yr old son Matthew in 1851

It seems that Matthew was the son of Johns first marriage.
Jane was his second wife.
