Looking for Robert Clark born Cavan 1830’s
« on: Thursday 20 July 23 10:29 BST (UK) »
Looking for help to find my 2nd Great Grandfather’s birth date Robert Clark According to 1871 Scotland Census age 35 it states he was born in Cavan, Ireland. 1861 Census age 26 states birth in Ireland. He married in Glasgow 1857 aged 23 his father is stated as Wm Clark and mother Ann Anderson he died in 1889 Glasgow aged 52 so his birth date is in the 1830’s ?!!

Any help would be very much appreciated  :)

I have found a family on ancestry Irish census dated 1841 which is a possibility in Killashandra

Thanks Colin for your reply but mothers name was Ann I don’t know if she had a middle name though, I think parents William and Ann originated from Scotland but not 100% sure that’s why I’m trying to find Roberts birth May give me clues going further back

Appreciate your interest
