Does seem like Joseph Jnr is theirs.

GRO has a Joseph Francis registered in Hackney, London September Quarter 1895 with a mother 'Reckie'.  Could easily be mangled from Reekie.

So it seems that Joseph and Agnes had Joseph Jnr in London pre marriage, emigrated to Canada (him in 1895, her in 1897), married in Canada in 1897 and then had Frederick

Here we go...

A 'Mrs Francis' and a 2 year old son Joseph arrived in Quebec on 6 November 1897 (so 12 days before the wedding!) on board the Labrador departing from Liverpool

Thank you all so much for all of this wonderful information, everything definitely seems correct, all dates seem to make sense in his family timeline, their second son Frederick must have been named after Joseph sr father,I will look into Joseph jr children, everything that has been discovered about his life is so interesting, thank you all again
