Archibald Dalgleish born 1915 & his wife Agnes Richardson nee Cowe b 1913

The above are alleged to have emigrated to  South Rhodesia which I guess is Zimbabwe now? They were both born in Scotland; Archibald in Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire and Agnes in Cardross, Dumbartonshire, they married 1939 in Peebles. They had a daughter, Eleanor who died young but I don't know whether in Scotland or Rhodesia- I can't find it in Scotland.
There are trees on Ancestry that say they died in Zimbabwe but without any sources?

Are you aware that Rhodesian Death Registrations for the period 1890 to 1977 are available free online through FamilySearch? More details here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Zimbabwe,_Death_Records_-_FamilySearch_Historical_Records

You need to browse through the images of the index for 1892-1977 first.

Andy J2022 No I wasn't aware of those records but having searched I couldn't find a death record for Archibald or Eleanor. I've today found our that Agnes died in South Africa in 1982 but he died in 1987 it is alleged so would be out of range of those records.
Would Agnes's death record help, if it could be found?

As far as I can see there is only one set of records which are late enough to possibly include Agnes's death: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1048929?availability=Family%20History%20Library
I have no idea of the quality of the registrations if you do find one for her. Presumably it will include her address and marital status at the very least.
Perhaps someone with more experience of the family history resources for South Africa will be able to help.
