Don’t think I’ve asked for help with this before
George Coleman my great great grandfather.  Marries in 1849 Sophia Davis aged 26. Father Thomas witness John
They have Jane in 1854 my relative
Also William in 1851
Sophia remarries in 1855 James humans
In 1851 Sophie is living with her parents
I don’t seem to be able to find anything more for George Coleman

Coleman being a common name if he has died. Difficult to find
Any help please

Has anyone tried to followed up the 1849 wedding witness John Coleman?

I tried to look for a John Coleman today. There is one living with a Thomas but not showing a George as well

It's been mentioned on one of the other threads that there is a George Coleman, miner, in Richmond, Surrey in the 1851 census (one of only two miners in Richmond). The census shows his birthplaces as "Floor" in Northants, which must be Flore (which means floor, alternative spelling Floore).

There is a baptism for a George Coleman in Flore in 1820, father Thomas Coleman, a labourer, mother Anne.

There's also a baptism in Flore for a John Coleman, son of Thomas & Anne, in 1807.
