william evans parents

hi amd looking for the place and date of william evans parents.
william evans is born in brymbo 1864. he marries mary pritchard in 1891. in the 1901 census he his in the moss and 1991 broughton. on his marriage he gives his father as griffith evans, but i cannot find him anywhere other than caernarfonshire which i dont think is right. think griffith evans marries mary williams. so where and when does griffith evans come from and when please. thank you.
