I have found him right from his birth to his death in1933 but nothing for 1871.

He married Sarah Ann Pask on 11 October 1875 at St Swithian (?)
 Occupation wise I cant decipher his occupation in 1881  (see attached)

This I dont think is him, as the birth place is wrong. He was born in Coningbsy.
