Good Morning all, I am just checking on William Middlemiss who came from Tughill Hall NBL. he married on the 31/3/1781 Alnwick to a Phyllis Murton (spelling change's) he died on the 16/8/1796 Beadnell NBL, would love to connect with other ancestors to check my records. :-[ :-\

I assume you mean you would like to connect with other descendants of this couple? I am not a descendant, but I thought I would add some information that could prove helpful.

The marriage was by licence; he signed, she made her mark. William was of the parish of Balmbrough (presumably Bamburgh?). The witnesses were Thomas and George Patterson.

It looks like this wasn't his first marriage? What other records do you have for him?

The marriage was by licence

The allegation and bond (next image) are on FamilySearch. William Middlemas was a husbandman, and, yes, a widower
