What happened to Alice Hooper?

Looking for some inspiration.

Alice Hooper was born on 13 Dec 1875 at 217 Green Street Bethnal Green. She is with her parents Henry George Hooper and Ellen (Stent) in the 1881 and 1891 census at 225 Green Street Bethnal Green. In 1901 census I believe it is her as a visitor to Charles Bigge and his family at 144 Queens Road Hackney.

After that - nothing. I think she is still alive on 24 April 1907. Her brother Alfred was in the army when he died in India, and Alice received a share of money owed to him by the army. And I've looked for census, death, marriage and emigration without success.

Any help appreciated.

Is she not with her parents in Hackney 1911 or is that a different family

The names seem to fit - Rose & Ellen are on earlier census

Unfortunately no. Her name appears in the army register of soldier's effects as a beneficiary (along with her mother and three brothers). I am surprised that the effects didn't all go to the mother, but maybe Alfred left a will.

Her brothers were Alfred(b.1878), Henry(1882), George (1888), and Albert (1892).

Her father Henry George died in 1893.

That 1911 census is a different family.

In 1901 Ellen is at 158, Bethnal Green Road, Bethnal Green with George 13 and Albert E age 10
RG13/289 f72 p10.  She was bn c1856 Stratford, Essex

Her mother Ellen died in 1909. Buried Chingford Mount cemetery 22 Nov 1909.
