What happened to Martha Browne?

I'm having problems finding out what happened to my great great grandmother,her name was Martha Browne(nee Milliard)she was born in 1817 woburn bedfordshire. in the 1881 census she was living at Coldham hall inn with my great great grandfarther (Edward Browne)but in the 1891 census which takes my great great grandfarther to Loddon Norfolk. He seems to have remarried to a lady named Sophia.I'm at a loss to know what to do to find out what happened to Martha in that ten year gap.did they devorce? did she die?if anyone can help I'd be chuffed to bits

Hi inkspiller,

                     I think i have her in 1871 living with her parents and siblings, her surname is Browne and there is an Edward (son in law) there aswell, BUT her birth yr is 1851 not 1817.....is this the same 1.
Im still trying to find her after 1881.

Martha Browne 33 Henstead 4b 119

Mar 1890
Martha Browne 70 Norwich 4b 75

The first one looks a possibility for the person Caz found
Henstead is in Norfolk

(correction) 1871 martha was married to my great great grandfarther and living in ashwellthorpe at her perents house, head Ebenezer milliard wife sarah

I was just going to put the death details for Martha browne...33...Henstead when Lizdb beat me to it.

So this looks like a strong possibility for Martha, hence  Edward remarrying by 1891.

thanks lizdb and caz after checking what ive already got it seems that martha browne 33 henstead is my great great grandmother, i did'nt know henstead admin covered so many towns and villages.she died young only 3 years older than myself. anyway thank you both for your help
