Looking for any info on William Taylor born 1824 died 1893 maybe connection to Ely his wife was Mary Ward. He had a son called George Taylor in 1864 who was married to Hanna Barnes.

What is his actual birthplace on the various censuses prior to his death?

The marriage was 1841 so he was only 17 - son George born 23yrs later??

What is his fathers name & occupation on the marriage cert

Yes - that's the only one I could find as well.  Could match the 1856 marriage in Wolverhampton.

Info given is sparse - nothing posted re censuses from 1871 with George & his birthplace etc.  No info re William or Mary's birthplace etc

Carol - more info please - with a surname like Taylor you need to post more detail
