Uhh, didn’t you read my other comment?

I think you will find that most Rootschat members who try to assist other members, do usually bother to read a post/thread first...

Anyhow, heywood beat me to it. So yes, I actually had read your other comment, but it had no bearing on my post, as I was casting a query on the ship name, not date of arrival (be the date accurate or otherwise), as he may have forgotten the name, and a clerk may have, on checking,  believed it was the Cambroman, due to the  arrival date he indicated.

Sorry.

But I am sure that it docked in 1903 as he stated that.

Yes the ship did. Scotmum and I have both agreed with you.
1910, George and his wife state 1903.
1920 both of them state 1900.

I am not sure if you have your family in 1905. If not this might be worth looking at.
I posted earlier that in 1910 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MPXM-TT6
George and Katherine are living at 32 Pawtucket Avenue.

In 1905, there is this person, George Ellieg, b 1883, Greece.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MLJT-Z61
His address seems to be 32 ‘Pawt’ Avenue.
His year of immigration is 1904.

There is also a Thomas Ellieg at the same address but immigration Year is 1905  :-\

Here is a Thomas Iggelats going to Pawtucket.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:23XS-MPD
The date is April 1905 and the census in 1905 was taken in June.

I am assuming he is this person Thomas Iggelis in the index

I can’t see a possibility for George though.
