Can someone please Help me find the correct ancestor lines

Can someone please Help me find the correct ancestor lines for Martha Jane Davies, there are so many Davies in Wales and I am struggling.  I was told by an aunt that the family ‘Davies’ were all from the Pontardawe area, not sure if this is 100% or not.

My Gran always lived in the same house Brook St/Terr.  I know all the descendants of Martha Jane and John Vickers just looking for the Martha's ancestors, her lines backwards.

I found out from the marriage cert that Mary's maiden name was Owen, she was a widow when she married David Davis.

When I saw 28, I did wonder if she had been married before. Of the children listed in 1901, who was the father? In marrying again, they could have taken the Davies name when registered as Williams. I used the 1921, which gave her birthplace, so then I could find the right 1901 record.

From the 1891 and 1901 census including the named children Mary’s DOB is around 1860. From this marriage in 1879 it works out her DOB is around 1855. Did I find the correct marriage cert?
