Downloading paid for Will
« on: Thursday 03 August 23 08:20 BST (UK) »
I haven’t used the GRO Will ordering site before and although I have had an email stating my order has been processed and is ready to be downloaded, I cannot work out how to access it.

No doubt it is completely obvious when you know how!

I’m hoping someone can enlighten me.

From the GRO page, select "My Orders" from the menu on the right-hand side.

Enter the COL number, from the email you received, and a suitable start date and end date.
Click "Search", and select the relevant document.

I assume you mean that you ordered the Will through the HMCTS Probate website. Go to the website and click on Sign In on the top line. Enter the login and password you used to set up the account then on the next page click on My Orders. There will probably be a figure in brackets after My Orders. This represents the number of documents waiting to be downloaded. A Grant and a Will count as two separate documents. On the next page you will see the documents you have ordered. Click on blue link(s) under where it says Download Documents and save the pdf file(s). The links stay valid for 30 days if I remember correctly.

Many thanks to you both.

I had expected a link in the email stating my order had been processed and was awaiting download. Lesson learned.

Regards.
