Canadian regiments in Sussex 1944
« on: Thursday 03 August 23 13:44 BST (UK) »
Hi

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask but I'm trying to find out which particular regiments of the Canadian Army did their training near to Newick and Cuckfield in Sussex around April 1944. I know that the regiment that I'm looking for then went on to be involved in the D-Day Landings on Juno beach.

Any help, would be much appreciated

The Canadian Army had an historical branch at Fort Shiloh, they sent me loads of information on units that were around Newhaven. I've had a quick look but can't see any links but it might be worth you spending some time checking War Diaries
