Dan was killed at the early age of 37 in a motorbike accident.  He had let a friend ride and Dan was riding pillion.  I have a picture of his gravestone.

It was Kate Ebenezer who was the housekeeper for John Jones - he is the genetic father of Dan Charles (b. 1912) and John Aeron (b. 1917).

Kate married Evan Rhys Morgan in 1925.

Dan Charles and John Aeron were the sons of Kate Ebenezer and she said the father was her employer, John Jones of Bronwenllwyd, Swyddffynnon (1911 and 1921 census).
The two boys were registered under her surname of Ebenezer because she was not married.
While she was in John Jones' employment as a housekeeper, the two boys were brought up by Kate's mother.
In 1925 Kate married Evan Rees Morgan.
