1911 - John Jones, b 1864, living at Bronwenllwyd Swyddffynnon.  His wife, Elizabeth Owen, is in this census but not in the next.  As Dan Charles was born Aug 1912, it's likely Elizabeth died around 1911.

I'll message you to give you the Ebenezer family connection so as not to name living people here.

I noticed you use 1912 as daniels date of birth but my grandmother told me it’s 1915

His birth is recorded as 3rd quarter 1912, vol 11b page 99.

That year is confirmed in the next census and the actual date from the 1939 Register.

That's what my aunt remembers. 

I've looked in the newspapers for a report on the accident and/or a coroner's report but haven't found anything yet.

My aunt also said that Dan Charles was a lovely man who was always helping other people.  My Dad also remembered him with affection and we used to visit the grave when in Tregaron.
